Appointment Policy

We look forward to welcoming you and your pet to our animal hospital. For your convenience, we continue to offer both our concierge appointments as well as in-person appointments. Masks are no longer required inside our hospital, but our staff will continue to wear them if they are not feeling well, and we ask you to do the same. For now, we kindly ask that only one person attend in-person appointments with your pet.

For new clients, please bring your pets’ current medical records so we can provide a smooth transition of care and have the most informed understanding of your pet’s needs and health history. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes early to your scheduled appointment time so our team has time to review any paperwork and check you in.

Upon Your Arrival

When you enter our hospital, we will do our best to put you and your pet into an exam room as soon as we can. Our team usually sees patients by appointment only, so the wait time should not be long. If a pet arrives in crisis, there may be an extended wait time, so we ask that you plan for at least one hour for your pet’s appointment.

Financial Options

As an animal hospital focused on patient care, we are unable to offer direct billing, delayed billing, or payment plans. Full payment is due at the time services are provided. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. Care Credit and Scratch Pay can provide veterinary financing for those who qualify. A member of our staff can advise on how to apply. Please note: We do not accept checks.

Safety Policy

We respectfully ask that all pets are secured on an appropriate leash or in a carrier to keep your pet safe while waiting to be seen.

Prescription Policy

Upon request, Arlington Dog and Cat Hospital can provide you with a written prescription to have your pet’s prescription filled by an unaffiliated online pharmacy. Please know that you are doing so at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee the quality or authenticity of products from such outlets. We have an online pharmacy accessible through our website which comes with a guarantee of safety and authenticity of their products. Our team is happy to work with them directly to eliminate the need for written prescriptions. We appreciate your understanding.
